4. 24 Scriptures in 12 Months ~ Memory Monday Tuesday
4. Do 24 Scriptures in 12 Months with Beth Moore
I finished Psalm 19 (a couple days late) which was my Feb 1-15 passage (from memory):
Psalm 19
The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they display knowledge.
There is no speech or language
where their voice is not heard.
Their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the end of the world.
In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun,
which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his
pavilion, like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
It rises at one end of the heavens
and makes its circuit to the other;
nothing is hidden from its heat.
The law of the Lord is perfect,
reviving the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever.
The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous.
They are more precious than gold,
than much pure gold.
They are sweeter than honey,
than honey from the comb.
By them is your servant warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.
Who can discern his errors?
Forgive my hidden faults.
Keep your servant also from willful sins;
may they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless;
innocent of great transgression.
May the words of my mouth
and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
My passage for Feb 15-28 is 1 Peter 1:1-12
For this week, I have verses 1-3 (from memory):
1 Peter 1:1-3
Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to God’s elect, strangers in the world, scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Asia, and Bithynia, who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood:
Grace and peace be yours in abundance.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

4. 24 Scriptures in 12 Months ~ Memory Monday Tuesday

The passage that I'm using for February 1-15 is Psalm 19. Admittedly, I started a few days early (on the 28th), but I think that I will be done with it before the end of the week! Right now I think I have veres 1-13a pretty well memorized, but we shall see:
Drat! Put a comma where I should have put a semicolon! :)

90. Read at least 30 books from my "I Plan To Read" Shelf
I just finished this book, I believe it is Julie Lessman's first novel, and it was phenomenal. I don't have any excerpts from this one because it was a library book, and I have already returned it.
I would also highly recommended this book. It is a beautiful portrayal of God's perfect plan for love and marriage, and the perils of living outside of that plan. Also, set during WWI with part of the action taking place in Ireland - a place that I would love to visit - the characters are very relateable and their struggles and triumphs an dlove for each other is portrayed so grippingly and so realistically that I could not put it down! I am looking forward to reading the next installment in the Daughters of Boston series!
